Yerbusa is as a special blend of Yerba mate (Ilex paraguariensis) and its long-related cousin Guayusa (Ilex guayusa). Both plants are native to the Atlantic and Amazonian Rainforests and have been consumed by the indigenous people for centuries as sacred plants.
Our Yerba Mate comes from the Argentinean province of Corrientes. While Guayusa comes from plantations in Ecuador.
